Following a workshop held in December, the Patient Advisory Group actively participated in another workshop focused on the explainability of AI on March 1st. Dipak Kalra, President of The European Institute for Innovation Through Health Data, led the workshop.
The primary aim of this workshop was to delve into the concept of AI explainability and to explore how patients’ insights can enhance ongoing AI development and how AI can benefit both patients and healthcare professionals.
Members of the Patient Advisory Group contributed actively, sharing their experiences and enriching the discussion with valuable insights. Their involvement provided fruitful and constructive insights for the development of AI tool.
